Temporary Housing Inc. was started in 1984 by Bill Hutton and was the first company in the country to specialize in housing insurance claimants. We work in Michigan, Ohio & Northern Indiana and are the only insurance housing provider based in Michigan. Combined, our people have eighty-five years of experience in housing thousands of families.
Our Service Agreements are easy to read and short. We will answer any questions you have regarding rental housing and what your responsibilities will be. We will provide you with all the information you need to make sure your temporary rental goes off without a hitch. We will negotiate a lease with your landlord, order all your furniture and house wares and make sure that everything is delivered and setup in good order. We will provide you with important information on the do's and don'ts of a short-term rental and checklists for the property, furniture and house wares.
Most of our clients have never had to rent a home before or if they have it was years ago. It is important that you use a housing provider with a proven track record in Michigan. No one knows more about Michigan's laws and Landlords then we do.
We know that being away from your home for an extended time while it is being repaired and all the things you may have lost that cannot be replaced is at best a trying experience. It is our job to at least solve your short-term housing needs and make sure the resources available to you are put to the best possible use.
